You will be taught all the basic principles of Dutch employment law during this course, on the basis of the employment cycle:
- Job application: to what points should you pay attention when screening candidates and what is permitted under privacy law?
- At the start of the employment
- During the term of employment: *What problems may occur and how should they be
addressed?
*How to amend employment conditions and how to
make an important decision that may have
consequences for the employees.
- On termination of the employment: in what manners can an employment relationship end and what severance pay is due?
Objective
The objective of the course is for you to be informed by the end of the afternoon of the basic principles of Dutch employment law and to be able to immediately apply them in your own practice. The course is enlivened by practical examples and striking case law. The participants are given ample time to present questions.
Target group
Anyone who deals with employment law as part of his or her work in an English environment and/or is not a native Dutch speaker and requires more detailed information in that field. Such as, but not limited to, attorneys, lawyers, legal secretaries, CEO, COO, HR and P&O employees.
